I have written a few blogs on auto accidents and how you should get care for them. I have also written about how there is no out of pocket expense for you if you are in an accident and have current auto insurance.
One questions that seems to cause confusion is:
What happens if I am the one at fault in the accident?
The answer is that it works the same way. Your insurance is the one that covers you just like if you were not at fault. The only difference is you will most likely have a deductible to pay for your care. In most cases this is $250, and in the grand scheme of things this is a small amount to access up to $15000 in auto injury care. However, this can be a significant financial hurdle with all of the expenses that come from an auto accident.
Because of this situation, we’ve started a program in which we will pay your auto deductible when you have your treatment with us at Straight Up Chiropractic. We want you to get the care that you need and we don’t want a deductible to be the road block.
My hope is that if you or someone you know and care about is in an auto accident, you will get the care needed to get you back to full speed and, ideally, make you feel like you were never in an accident.
